The Rocky Mountain Audio Fest is, IMO, the show to beat. 174 rooms and 900 photos later, I just wish I'd had more time. Worse, I had to leave early due to a family tragedy, so I only got to really hang out and spend real time in less than a third of the rooms. Anyway, I'm still organizing and posting, but the report-in-progress is here:

It's gonna take another week or so to pull all the threads together (this is still a part-time gig), but there's a fair bit up now. Enjoy!

(ps -- is it bad that I'm already Jonesing for CES? I've got issues, clearly.)

sorry about your uncle, i too enjoy your musings. I felt like i was hearing myself talk reading your report of the newport show ealier this year - scary to think someone agrees with me 90...okay, 75% of the time ;)
 
Hard to believe that this time last week we were getting ready to head out to the Bent Fork and have dinner. My how time flies.
