Sasha DAW vs. The Watt/Puppy

I was just wondering if anyone got the chance to compare the Sasha DAW with the new (The) Watt/Puppies and can share their feedback on the main sonic/voicing differences (size differences aside)?
I'm asking as the used or even Certified Authentic DAW's are going now cheaper than the Watt/Puppies, and while an older model, they are technically part of an upper range.

As impressive as the latest Watt Puppy is, if I were choosing, I would want to audition them side by side.

As a general observation, the DAW is a real deal at current pricing for CPO samples. It has taken its major depreciation.

I am probably biased because I already own DAWs (which I have directly compared to the Sasha V). At the price differential between the DAW and the V, I’d choose the DAWs … at least until I could afford to go all the way to the Alexx Vs.

I couldn't agree more regarding the current value proposition of the DAWs, to be honest.

Unfortunately, not only did my local dealer not have any Sasha DAWs available to listen to side by side with The Watt Puppies, but apparently neither WA has had any DAWs available as CPO. I did audition The Watt Puppy and the Sasha V, even if not side by side, but one after another, and found both taking a slightly different approach compared to the DAWs, in the sense of being more detailed and leaning towards a more resolute sound compared to the DAWs. Somehow, I liked the Watt Puppies more than the Sasha V, but overall the voicing was less to my liking compared to the DAWs... but again, this is just comparing from my memory.

Ask for Richard.

Funnily, I actually did talk to them :) And I was still able to get a (much) better deal elsewhere...

I did not say you would get a better deal from one or another. I said the published deal may be sweetened at any dealer by talking to them.

I hope you enjoy your DAWs. I love mine.
