Scary Movies

Haven't checked, maybe there is one, would be cool to see.

There is now. ...A dedicated Sci-Fi thread...movies and all.

Actually, some people don't. My girlfriend wasn't too into these movies until we watched a few together.

But most guys (men and boys) love sci-fi flicks...and many gals too (women and girls). ...For only few, like your lovely girlfriend, it's not especially their bag.
Some people prefer horror/scary flicks over sci-fi/action/fantasy ones. ...But generally...

Haven't seen 'Inside' available yet, but 'Creep' (2014-2015) is on Netflix (Canada). 'Session 9' as well.

'The Purge' we have on Blu-Ray, and some others we caught on Netflix as well (not sure if it was NF USA rather than CA).

All the movie titles you previously mentioned I checked them all...the trailers...and where they are easily available for us...Netflix included.
I admit, flicks like Creep has one of the lowest rating from an average @ Rotten Tomatoes, so it might take a while for me to check it out...but I will...I just have to ask a friend for a friendly/personal use copy.

I intend to only buy It Follows on Blu-ray (and still maybe), and none of the other titles...as it is not my forte like it is for others who I know are really into Dracula, vampires stuff and all that werewolf/sasquatch delivery of the dark side. ...Like The Host, a Korean flick, or Cloverfield...which I own both on Blu.

For me, the best scary/horrific flicks are like some of the best comedies. ...For me.
One of my top favorites is An American Werewolf in London, and Tremors. ...Them two too I own on Blu.

I also like Dracula ... with Gary Oldman. ...That's a cool kind of scary/comical/horrific type of flick in a sense...that I like. ...The music score, Tom Waits, John Wick, the nice lingerie wore by these young and beautiful goddesses of the darkness...Dracula's own concubines.
...Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, same guy who did Apocalypse Now - Redux ... a real nightmare. ...And Hearts Of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse, the excellent documentary...all that too I own on Blu.

I had noticed that too, so I was quite surprised about the rating, but it's a tricky movie, in the sense that some people may not get it or like the feeling it provides them (the very same reason I find the movie effective). The rating on Netflix is very different though.

Interestingly, we're thinking of renewing our Blu-Ray collection (we buy used), so I've had the task to watch some of our badly-rated titles alone. Here again, some of the RT ratings do not seem to correspond to what I'd use (and I believe I'm quite hard to please).

I think that could be a very good thing to do since the score is very good and you like that.

None of the movies in my list are like those!

Not sure what you mean here. If there were comedy in 'Hellraiser', I'd probably not like it. On the other hand in 'Creep' it has to be there.

The stuff of legend! I have it, but DVD only, whose picture resolution rather fell out of favour with the arrival of Blu-Ray at my place.

Cool, will check it out. I suspect that I'll find it hard to find original movies in that area as well, although, hopefully there are some more recent surprises.

What truly scares me are...knives, spoons, forks and long teeth.

Have you watched 'Creep' yet?

Another one to watch (will be reminiscent of some other movies):

Would You Rather?
