Hello,

I am interested if someone knows what is the material used for the plate that links Bass&Middle&High to SF Lilium. (please see the pictures attcahed).
Also i am wondering if someone is using jumpers instead this plate, and what is the difference?

Thanks,
Costin

They feel like plated cheap aluminium. I use jumpers made from speaker cables.

I can speak to the Il Cremonese to state that the "jumper" or connecting piece SF ships is literally an insult to the speaker. Replacing the SF metal with Shunyata jumper cables opened the sound; the bass became dynamic and controlled, the midrange full and enveloping, the treble light (+ sense) and articulate, floating. The soundstage improved as well. I guess SF feels they need to ship the speakers with something so that they can be used or demoed instantly upon unpacking, but they really do themselves a large injustice.

I have tried Nordost Valhalla and Shunyata Omega jumpers and the latter are far more revealing. Worth the cost.
