I have had ther Studio player in my room since a few days after Capital Audio Fest. I have had it playing on and off since then as well as having the Comtesse in the room and running them both in along with a pair of Shunyata 2500 speaker cables Theta from the show.

I sat down today to do a serious listen and make some adjustments on the player to see what happened and how the whole system is now playing.
First the Studio Player is quite remarkable, at roughly 1/9th the price of my big Wadax system it really stands up. I dont know how tro measure the differences but this Studio player is going to make a lot of expensive gear sound very average. This is streaming I am talking about not playing files or CD's. That is a subject for future posts.
I played with the impedance and got it dialed in and this player is truly special in its ability to get out of the way and play music. It is Wadaxian in nature even if it is a lesser version of the Reference . I believe in MOST systems this piece will be a killer. If you own a huge system well then perhaps you can go for the whole nine yards but for the widest variety of systems this product is special

I was mightily impressed. I could live with that.
