TechDAS latest cartridge is TDC-01 Dia. The main difference between previous TDC-01 and TDC-01 Ti is the use of diamond cantilever. It is not ordinary diamond cantilever but a tapered pipe one.

There is not much information about tapered pipe diamond cantilever but it must be the first cartridge to use it. A hollow tube reduces mass and enhances rigidity. It is be beneficial to signal transmission. The actual cantilever is a black rod, not the usual transparent diamond rod.

The package of TDC-01 Dia is remarkable, it comes with a lot of accessories including tracking force gauge, ceramic screwdriver, bamboo plier, titanium cartridge screws and cartridge wires. This is the most comprehensive package of accessories I have seen in any cartridge.

The most important thing, of course, is the sound. TDC-01 Dia has the highest resolving power I have heard in any MC cartridge. The resolution is simply amazing. The sound is still neutral and is not harsh. This must be the effect of tapered pipe diamond cantilever. I am very impressed by its performance and its selling price is also very reasonable. I highly recommend it.IMG_4413.JPGIMG_E4415.JPGIMG_4416.JPG

Enjoy reading your posts. Curious about the Nordost Sort Kone resting on the TT in the 3rd photo. Does it serve a specific function?

Hello @TLi thank you for the update on TDC-01 Dia cartridge. Any news from AF10 arm? When will you receive yours?

I have a number of spare Nordost Sort Kone Tc. They are not very good in my system when placed under an equipment. It sounds thin. One can put them on top of equipment and result is good. Although it doesn't make much of a difference, it would take away some of the vibrational energy away. The result is slightly cleaner picture.

Air Force 10 arrives in the next week or two. The exact date is to be confirmed. TechDAS team will come to my place to install AF10. It will be the first batch to be delivered to customer. I really looking forwards to it and shall report it in WBF.

How many hours did the cartridge needed to sound at its best? Is it not to tough on female voices? Mine will be build in, coming days. With Techdas AF3 and Graham Elite arm.

It sounds very well out of the box, but it is a little bright when brand new. After 100 hours, things will smooth down considerably.
