I’m in the fourth year of a refund lawsuit for a defective Focal Stella Utopia.

The court conducted an inspection,
and while the cause of the issue wasn’t identified,
the result was determined to be a manufacturing defect.
Since the speaker does not produce sound,
it was judged to be a critical defect.
Until now, the importer has claimed that the malfunction
was due to issues with my amplifier.

What’s even more surprising is the soldering on the speaker binding posts,
which was discovered during the inspection process.
But this was not the cause of the malfunction.

I recommend checking the soldering on your Focal speakers as well.

A warranty case. If there is no response, sue for replacement with a lawyer. Normally there is a 3-5 year warranty on speakers in most cases. It looks like someone tried to repair it themselves and can't tell the hot end from the cold end of the soldering iron.
I think they are allowed to carry out up to 3 repairs, after which replacement is due.

I purchased a new product, but one of the woofers was defective and did not work.
Since there was no identical stock available, I requested a refund, but it was denied.
As a result, I proceeded with a lawsuit.
However, the seller claimed that the product was functioning properly,
so the court conducted an inspection of the product.
It was determined that the product had a manufacturing defect.
The lawsuit is still ongoing.

It seems as if you have a bone to pick with Focal. This is not your only thread on the subject, nor have you made a post on this board about anything else. That said, please continue on one of your other threads or keep this between you and your lawyers.

New threads are not welcome anymore on this subject. That said, this thread is closed.
