Yes ,belongs to Mr. Molinier, France. here more photos of his whole system.
Wall of sound very difficult to describe, it worked like a single piece, I thought there are time problems..really good

I really love these bespoke systems. My friend has one, started as Edgar Horns and went on from there.

my cousin and i were in france for a purchase. we wanted to pick up wadia 2000 dac and transport. at the seller sat mr. molinier on the couch we started talking. it was pure coincidence that we were allowed to listen to his horn system.
It turned out to be a long evening, the most impressive thing was how realistically the system could reproduce an organ. You could literally feel the pressure in your body. I mean it was a piece of Bach cantata, the big subwoofers work from 15 - 55hz. the system worked active xover. Unfortunately, I no longer have contact. When moving my apartment, I lost address data. the last visit is now 8 years ago.
P.S
There is no such thing as a perfect loudspeaker, and large horns always have problems with spatial mapping. the sound is played in front of the loudspeaker. Everything else was sensational. the finest sound events are served on the silver tray..
Google helps.

I don't know exactly, I think it was jbl. i was too impressed with the sound. I didn’t ask all technical questions.
I would have liked to crawl behind it, I was too fat back then:p

WHOA Jeff!! Those are awesome....are they originals or reproductions? One of my favorite vintage speakers....

If they are originals, you might want to consider getting a pair of 075 ring horn tweeters from JBL to extend the top end a bit (there is a crossover for this somewhere as the last of the Hartsfields used the 075 as well...same as the Paragon). If they are reproductions then probably the compression driver used extends a bit further up than the original 375.
Thanks Brad, sorry for the late response. These are originals with the 075 tweeter mounted behind the grills.

System update!

I’ve been experimenting with the Hartsfield’s and their extremely high level of resolution for a few months. Because they sat unused for many years, I had the break them in again. The SIT3 was great at the beginning but as the speakers came more alive the miss match between the amp and the speakers became apparent, manifested in distortion in the midrange. So it was sold.

I’ve always enjoyed the sound of EL34 tubes in guitar and stereo amps. I was able to purchase an Air Tight ATM-1s at a very good price and it seems to be matching extremely well with the Hartsfields. And the fit and finish of the Air Tight ear is beyond reproach.

Nice amp! I had a few EL34 amps over the years (Jolida, Golden Tube AudIo, Mastersound) and they were always pleasurable to listen to. I always wanted to try the ATM-1 as it had Tango output transformers...not sure what is in the 1s but I am sure they are very high quality.
I was always tempted to try the ATM-211 monos but for some reason never pulled the trigger.
You should give a SET a try though in the future as you are now in the 100dB club!

Thank you Al. This is a fun little amp to tide me over until a pair of ML2’s or another interesting SET amp pops up used.
If you didn’t live on the opposite side of the globe I would bring a few interesting SETs over to try out on those bad boys ( I have 4 different ones in house currently).
