The Proper Use of the Apostrophe

This thread is about the correct use of the apostrophe. It is not a general comment thread. :)

Steve was very generous and gracious in retaining for me the same title Amir enjoyed.

That was a nice gesture from Steve, altho surely a tad more confusing and ultimately just as incorrect to forum members than the odd loose apostrophe NeY! Perhaps Co Owner might attract a little less pedantry from out of the dark.

There is nothing possessive about tube types or decades.

In the 1980s I put 6SN7s in my amplifier.
