Once again taking advantage of the excellent totaldac upgrade scheme, I have recently moved from the d1-direct to the d1-sublime DAC with the d1-streamer sublime all with live power and the new live-clocking feature, and connected to the internet and my music server with the d1-switch.

I have made several upgrades since my original d1-dual purchase and I didn’t think that it would be possible to get much better than the d1-direct. But, once again Vincent has surprised me with how good this d1-sublime DAC combination is - I am really impressed and pleased with the improvement.

As always the musicality, rhythm, realism and purity of the totaldac approach shows through. And now with the d1-sublime there are some additional improvements – music and voices seem even more real, everything is even clearer – background lyrics which were hard to exactly decipher before can now be clearly understood even when there is a lot going on in a recording.

There is a greater sense of energy and involvement when the music delivers this - it greatly encourages dancing and use of the air guitar!

Overall another great step forward – do listen if you get the chance.

I also recently bought the Sublime Dac. It is an amazing machine. Before I had the Naim 555 & 2x PSUs. Naim is great too, but the Sublime is better in all aspects . More dynamics and realism
