Love the smell of jazz in the moanin…
Cheers Ked. One of my all time favourite jazz albums and the pnoes are doing it brilliantly, crazy jealous of Bill’s and the Generals setups! So many things going so right… for me these are among the most ideal recipes for a full on amazing! I do find these approaches to the mystical and most musical analogue arts very inspirational.Great pun!
Same here, on both accountsThanks Ked for keeping us up to date on Audiophile Bill’s system; it’s greatly appreciated! I miss his contributions to the forum.

Great, thanks Ked. What's up with the three mini horns on the floor in Bill's new setup??Video alert: I have posted the Beethoven 7 in the DGG original source thread and the Scheherazade and Ode to joy in the SET amp owners thread with this set up
here’s another ninth
Great, thanks Ked. What's up with the three mini horns on the floor in Bill's new setup??
And are the Devor 30's there?
Might this driver be a good match for the TH4001 horn?4001 is not particularly relaxed...on the contrary a litt squeeky on certain mid freqs around 3-4K and does break up rather early and need to be tamed by the TH-4001 fins or low-passed at max 8K. The fins create other problems
By lenses, do you mean the vanes?I’d try the Radian With the JBL you’d need a tweeter, which is kind of a point to not have in addition to the lenses in TH4001
I hope to be able to hear Nicolas Badey's Next Gen Biradial and that X-shaped horn too by end of May. https://audiohorn.net/x-shape-horn/
