What are some recent LPs you have bought that sound amazing?

The Mercury Golden Imports version of the complete suites is excellent (something not true of most of the Golden Import series).
I found a copy of the Golden Imports version for about $10 at a sale at The Record Man on El Camino when we lived in Redwood City. This was over 20 years ago. When I looked it up, I was surprised to find out that it was valued at over $100 even back then.

I also have the new Acoustic Sounds 45 rpm reissue, when is just mind bending.

This German first issue sounds very good.
Of course the DG The Original Source remaster series sounds great. I listened to the Steinberg and Boston SO recording of Hindemith's Mathis der Maler symphony last night and that is truly spectacular. I see that the unopened 3 LP box is €220 plus on Discogs now.

Kubelik with the Bavarian Radio Symphony achieve a mastery of Mahler's 1st that rise above most, perhaps all. He brings insight to Mahler's score with a wonderful flowing lyrical approach. This is from 1967. Equally delightful, if not moreso, is his (1974?) version with the same orchestra on the Audite label, because it was recorded live. Audite 80.467

I would like to get the Jack Johnson.

How does the Jack Johnson sound? Third Man pressings have been inconsistent IME
Excellent IMHO. Much better than my Third Man “White Denim” album, which sounds in my system like a bootlegged concert with a blurred wall-of-sound

It's nice, but that vibraphone is probably the widest ever put to tape. The rest of the band is put on a more believable soundstage. :)

The Audite Kubelik M1 is on my must listen list, @tima. I haven't got around to it yet.
