:) Same here

Would he be doing Xiaomanyc style videos?

Accwai (...thx for all the likes, btw) ....I feel somewhat confident that he does no Xiaomanyc style vids. He is stupid busy ...all the time. I could WeChat him (even though he is outside the PRC at the moment...return date to the mainland delayed ( or unknown at this time) because of the New Year and virus scare) much later tonight and ask him for you.

However, another thought in my chicken brain: He and I are attending the San Fransisco Symphony on Saturday, Feb. 8 so I'll ask him then.

Beethoven 2 and Brahms 4 are the highlights, as it were, of the evening. I'll maybe post some pics on the recent concerts attended forum.

(Herbert Blomstedt ( at 92 years young) conducting. Unreal.)

Have fun Accwai...and be safe.

Great to see you guys holding up the fort as always... love the suggestions.

Tonight I’ve gone Schubert and the Trout, Brendel and Zehetmair...absolutely delish fish! Just a lovely performance, beautifully spacious and yummy tone. Worlds worst ever album cover though. Ah well, it’s delightfully cooked inside. Much recommended.

My copy is a bit crackly, but I love this! Appropriately bombastic, with very good detail and string tone!

One of my favorites of Beethoven Quartets.
Maybe be the set with the best sonic quality too.

8th part of Haydn2032 Project:
Hello Marslo,
If I want to buy my first album of the Haydn2032 Project, which one do you recommend?
Many thanks!

Dear CKKeung,
Well, hard to pick the only one, the last one is interesting, especially the tittle piece La Roxalana , second mouvement of Symphony no 63 is a beautiful piece of classical music. Bela Bartok music inspired by ethnic gipsy songs is very nice too.
You might also check the opinions at Amazon about former parts.
For me the first and the 5th are very good, I liked a bit less the 7th part.
