This look fun. Never heard it. Will track down on yr recommendation.

oh, and greetings one and all…

Here is a bit more info on the work itself.

This performance spurred another recording which may have bettered it in performance or some atmospheric quality we favor. I only sat through three and a quarter hours of this one. :)

Edit: Good to see you... off your... back!

Yes...ha ha - realised who was who, re composer/band leader - no I meant your audio system - which of your audio systems was that? - looks abit like an Accu Receiver and some Devore's or a Proac floorstander of some sort. TT?

No idea... anyway - loved the look of it.

I see you have a CS600, which is one of my fav's esp with KT120's which I ran with mine when I had one (twice), or 6N3C. Nuisance about the KT's - you had to leave the lid off. Kinda put a dampener of it.

You have excellent taste ;)

Thanks Rando - great link. Listened to it this morning.

Yup on the mend - its abit two steps forward one step back stuff. Last time I let a surgeon near me.

Been off audio forums (well - this is the only one I was on) since last I posted here - I checked back in yesterday for a browse about....reminded me why I quit being an audiophile.

Fortunately this thread remains a haven of civility and interest.

I'll be reading this thread with interest for a while. Always nice to get recommendations and jogs of the memory.

Be well mate.
