This morning I have been and continue to be hosting a bit of a duel, a shootout between these two recordings.

Full cycles of Rachmaninov/Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto Cycles along with the Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini.

How is it? Just bought it and it arrived but have not listened yet.

To be perfectly blunt, as if the looney bin was emptied out in kind with sympathy one looses creatures from a barn in a storm with. Such is the fluency with overwhelming emotion having attained a beatific semblance of clarity.

Forgive me for wondering if asking the Londoner's thoughts on it would've better expressed poignancy.

Excellent! We have and enjoy this one...will pull it out. We also have FIM Remaster Rossini String Sonatas which we were just listening to last week.

Perhaps I neglected worthy FIM releases due to the fluctuation of market availability at moment I was looking. My understanding was their catalog delved much deeper into standards and Asian language releases than typical for labels the West found accessible.
