What are you currently listening to (Classical)?

Very good playing and sound. Too bad Hyperion quit (I think...) issuing SACDs.

Superb performances in extremely realistic sound.

Highly recommended:

Oops, posted this in another section, moved here.

The Holy Grail, well, so some believe the best sounding album ever made. Is it? Maybe, it's on a whole other level than most music, including mobile fidelity etc.

What is it?

The record is hard to identify by reading what is on it... maybe to our benefit.

Which album version?

Its a simple low quality version I found online from a...not so legitimate source...
03 - "Claude Debussy - Suite Bergamasque Nr.3 Clair de lune" Is what It shows up on my foobar2000 stats.

I have my eye on a CD now, like many of my music I "preview" it some way or another and then buy the real deal, nothing like looking at the rear of a CD and and see its beautiful colour refractions(only works with incandescent or halogen or sunlight since it contains all the colours:D).
I'm like the digital equivalent of a vinyl enthusiast.
Taking off that heat shrink plastic and opening that, under engineered, brittle jewel case is some I'll tell you what.

I'm not a hardcore classical listener/fan,but most of this is probably because I was (extensively?) exposed to this music at an early age.

Maybe you have a few pointers at finding classical song in great quality in this digital day an age?

Would appreciate a few pointers.

There are so many great classical music recordings that I wouldn't be able to tell you where to start. This thread right here, started by Bachtoven, is replenished with delicacies.

If I was going to live the rest of my life on a desert island, and only one classical album that I could bring with me, I might put this one strapped to my guitar case:
