This $60 SACD sounds nearly as good as my used $9.99 LP version.

It is this one. Bigbeatman is now increasing the price. 80 euros seem fine because this is a double lps album and it also has Kogan on Brahms which is my favorite interpretation and sound excellent also.

EMI reissued the SAX on their World ST562 I think in the '60's. Not that easy to find, but pretty cheap if you do. I bought it for 20GBP several years ago. Testament also reissued it maybe 20 years ago along with most of the SAX Kogans. I only have one original, the Tchaikovsky and even that has gotten crazy prices. I do have a very nice 15ips 2 track copy of the Brahms dubbed from a safety master. Still looking for good tape versions of the other SAX Kogans.

Caro Mitis was a great audiophile label, with performances to match. Sadly, they seemed to have ceased production.

Wow. Thanks a lot Tima. You know? I was thinking of doing digital just because of her.

She is not even that good. She wears heels she finds awkward to walk in on the stage

A wonderful LP recording. His playing is so expressive, and the sound is rich and full. Hard to beat analog Archive recordings. (I think the sound turned a little strident/cold when they switched to digital recorders.)
