What are you currently listening to (Classical)?

I love that one but I also like this one:

Don't know that one is it the 1997 version were the spoken bits have been changed to sung, I expect it is seeing Barbara Hannigan in the cast.

Sonatas 5-8 today of this new release. So far, so good, but I don't think I'll throw away my sets by Zhukov, Ugorsky, or Ashkenazy.

A truly great recording in all respects. Miriam Feuersinger is the absolute best in this repertoire.

Mozart's magical Sinfonia Concertante in E-Flat Major, KV 364 ....

Decided to have a showdown, so to speak, of two (2) my favorite CDs of this incredible composition.

Not trusting my ears ( average hearing), I asked a close friend (who sports perfect pitch...and is classically trained: Trumpet) to listen to KV364 on the CDs below and rank them.

...the test results were subjective, of course, but in this Battle of the C"D"s, the winner was:

DENON.

With heavy hitters like David Oistrakh on the DECCA disc I was surprised.
ADD vs DDD? Made in Germany vs Japan? Ensembles, conductors?
Just saying...was a lot of FUN!
