L. van Beethoven: String Quartet No. 14 in C sharp minor, Op. 131

I love #14 but #15 is the one that makes me see stars. :) Actually, they all do in their own ways. :)

Perfect for me on this rainy New Year's Eve. Here's to a brighter 2020 for all.

How do you know these are original. Purchased from G? Is the Ricci Bizet Sarasate the first press?

My friend who played them for me knows what they are.

Original pressings, very nice Ron; I have them too but as reissues. What did you think of your selections?

I like the first Ricci more than I thought I would.

For me, Firebird was too stream of consciousness and haphazard sounding.

I prefer the kind of mathematical coherence and rising energy repetition of Beethoven and Mozart.

Firebird is that way. Which Ricci, the lalo or the Bizet Sarasate
