Book 3 of the Lightbringer series before book 5 arrives in October. Brilliant series by Brett Weeks

I'm a huge Dan Brown fan. This one has been sitting in my library for a year. Finally read it this past week.

It tries to answer the questions "where do we come from and where are we heading"

I thought it was fascinating with a highly plausible ending

Currently I'm reading Ernest Gann's biography, 'A Hostage to Fortune' which is very readable. He led a very energetic and action packed life and once you get used to his writing, is an enjoyable read.

On a side note I got this book second hand. Inside the cover there is written 'Christmas 1978 To Lewis from Evelyn'. It got me thinking who this couple might be some 40 years ago? Were they a long married couple that no longer say 'all my love' etc.. Brother and sister? Did they have a whole library of books - Christmas 77, 76 etc.. Are there 'Birthday 78' etc. books?

If you like flying, Gann's 'Fate in the Hunter' is excellent:

Fate is the Hunter
