The Complete Works of pianist Josef Hofmann Volumes 1 and 2 recorded from the mid-30's to mid-40's on VAi 1002 and 1020-2 Audio CD's. Although there's pops and hisses from the original sources, his legendary inner harmonies of melodies break through the ice. Great instrumentalist.

Some Ray Brown tonight. Despite the tracking warning label on Soular Energy, the low compliant Koetsu breezed through the glorious bass extension and popping piano.
