What's Spinning Tonight?

I haven't heard about that. Was that going to be a reissue in another format or a new recording, or something else? Thanks.
TMK not reissues but new recordings. IDK how far they got before the fall out. This, of course, was quite a few years ago.

It was a Willie Nelson evening for me. First up was , "Stardust" and then "Teatro". Both Redbook. Now to go get depressed by watching the evening news.

Well I've been following this thread for the past 5 1/2 years and am late to the party as to contributing. However I have been listening to only vinyl for the past 5 months and am having a blast

I listened to this album last night and was astonished as to not only how well it was recorded but so also the genius of Jimi Hendrix and The Band Of Gypsies. It is a 3 record album and listening to the 3 of them sing and play was remarkable. He was truly a great guitar player and I must admit that it wasn't until yesterday that I realized he was a left handed guitar player. The jacket also told the story as to how the group was formed which I found informative

Pink Floyd, "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason". Redbook.

Great album and how true it is in this world. ...And that momentary lapse of 'reason' has been lasting forever...it seems.

__________

- 'Broken English' - Marianne Faithfull (ex-Mick Jagger's girlfriend) - Love that album.

- Hendrix (just above, Steve's post) - Excellent (have both the album and CD). I'm a huge fan.

<<>> Right on music (all)!

Steve, there's a saying among guitar players that Jimi died young because God needed him for his band. IMO, there has never been a better guitar player in history.
A little more info on Jimi, you may note that he actually plays his Fender Strat ( a right handed version) upside down.
