Been spinning a lot of Charles Lloyd lately. Underrated in my opinion. The sheer scope and versatility of his output makes all others (including the real big names) look like one trick sax ponies. Guy's an absolute musical genius.
Israel Nash, "Rain Plans" Redbook. I only discovered Israel Nash's music last year and am very glad I did. The first album of his I bought was "Silver Season", which is one of my favorite albums. I just recently purchased this album, although it was made a year or so before Silver Season. It is a very nice, laid back album that will really put you in a peaceful, Austin Hill Country frame of mind. Nice guitar work, too.

853guy, would you mind giving a brief description about the artists/music you've listed. Intriguing cover art for them, but unfortunately, I'm not familiar with any of the artists. Is the music jazz, world, what? In the meantime, I'll do some internet searches. Thanks!
