on the Music Matters 33 label.

Sheffield Lab DtoD/ Still Harry after all these years....and a superb recording that is a little under the radar IMO.

Sounds a little digital on my system, but still an excellent recording.

Gian, some excellent choices there.

Why did you pick that particular 1812?

BTW, if you want to hear a great classical recording...and are ready for a real treat...this one on the new Analogue productions reissue would fit the bill. ( or better still the original pressing; but who has that??)

1812 i bought around 1980 together with other Telarc like Fennel,Mussorgsky Picture and......,Bolero,Carmina Burana,Firebird,ecc,ecc
Were among the first Audiophile recording like Sheffield,Crystal Clear,M&K,Century records,Opus 3 of that time

Interesting Gian. The 1812 is a digital recording whereas the other three are analog.
BTW, the Opus 3 LP’s are truly special...and I think highly underrated.
