What's Spinning Tonight?

Thanks a lot. I enjoy discovering new(old) bands. If we are talking Reggae, then what do you think about UB40? I would place it somewhere between Reggae and Pop?
They are okay I guess, I do have some records by them. UB40 is Reggae for the western pallet. Yes I guess I too would classify them as Reggae pop. I would pick Bob Marley over UB40 any day. :)

Ok the last few ones you posted are super interesting...now I wanna know what spins after midnite ;)
It varies on a running theme. I often start out a bit scattershot, though as the evening progresses and a thread or vibe starts to form, the bubbling up transforms into a distillate, a tincture. Sometimes it’s exploring an artist or a producer or an idea or feeling. But it is almost always driven by the music feeling primarily. Right now, two out of three of my tonearm/cartridges are down due to changing out different aspects of the gear and it’s really crimping our listening flow. So late night lengthy listening has been truncated for the time. Hope to have it all back up and running soon. I should start listing more frequently as well.

Started off with some Allman Brothers Band at The Fillmore East and finished with a blast of Tron Legacy not the crappy remix version or the blue vinyl either
