A Certain Ratio – 1982 - brand new album from ACR on Mute records. I haven't bought an ACR since 1986. Didn't even realise they were still around. Absolutely wonderful album - dedicated to the late great Toney Allen, so it has a rather funky drum beat, no doubt as respect to Tony. excellent sound quality and pressing.
I just had an amusing coincidence. I saw your comment, went to Allmusic to read the review, and it mentioned that one song on the record, Holy Smokes, was an homage to the Bar-Kays song Holy Ghost. I was listening to Holy Ghost (on vinyl, no less) when I read the review.
