I didn't have a high opionion of them until I was visiting my sister, and I could hear, from hear bathroom window, Coldplay introducing Edwyn Collins (she lives near the Hampden Park concert venue). Very cool people.

Superb!

I like some of their stuff , I like their first album the best but there are some nice cuts off other albums that are good. This one is an excellent recording

 

Patricia Barber (Cafe Blue) Impex Records One Step Pressing.

 

Placebo – Never Let Me Go - wonderful album musically and Brian's vocals sound pretty good, but the recording/mastering has a constant compressed haze - don't think the dynamic range of this release is too high.
