Growing up, Sunday's were reserved; classical (loose term) music only. Without being intentional, my dad taught me a lot about balance and appreciating music for music's sake. I think it sad that so many grew up in households where only one type of music was played, be it country, gospel, rock, r&b or what have you. I can't fathom that.
An aside: I used to turn my nose up at the MHS releases until I was gifted several hundred. Now, I'm just happy to have the music.
