Listening to a magnificent recording of Tchaikovsky’s Suite No 3 conducted by Sir Adrian Boult. EMI ASD LP played back through a Supex 900 moving coil cartridge, the Koetsu before Koetsu existed, a Sugano masterpiece. Luscious strings and the London Philharmonic sounds gorgeous.

Nothing captured the angst of the current era we live in with political turmoil and wars raging in every area of the world. What better way to deal with this than to turn to the blues? These are indeed strange days. Music helps me through everyday life issues.
