Listening to a magnificent recording of Tchaikovsky’s Suite No 3 conducted by Sir Adrian Boult. EMI ASD LP played back through a Supex 900 moving coil cartridge, the Koetsu before Koetsu existed, a Sugano masterpiece. Luscious strings and the London Philharmonic sounds gorgeous.

It's past midnight in my neighborhood.
The window is open and a cool breeze has found its way into the listening room.
There is a quiet peace in the whole house and if I could wish, this peace would always prevail.
The song - Minnesota - from the album, And If, by Anat Fort Trio is more than suitable to strengthen all the senses at this moment...

Nothing captured the angst of the current era we live in with political turmoil and wars raging in every area of the world. What better way to deal with this than to turn to the blues? The blues captures in music all the frustration and the despair that the dispossessed and the weak feel powerless to change. Once again, from the simply amazing Orbis compilation.

These are indeed strange days. Music helps me through everyday life issues. :)
I don't want to derail this thread so I'll leave it at that.
