It's nice to have a TT again. Currently I'm mining the vein of 60's & 70's vintage rock albums.
Saw this band many times as a young man. Chicago II was their second release. This is the 1st pressing (the red 360 Sound label with white lettering) purchased new in 1969. To think later that year I would be at Woodstock with my older brother.
Considering how many times we listened to this record I can now, 55+ years later, appreciate how durable vinyl is as a music storage medium. Nice recording too.

There's a special version of "Welcome to the Machine" where the doors sound like those of a nuclear bunker. Sorry, I forget what Lp version that was. i think it was a old japan version soo deep bass.

This was purchased in 1985 in Taipei, but the quality of the LP is great. I have purchased also a more recent version, but do not sound as good as this one.
In my part of the world autumn is starting to take over more and more. There are not many leaves left on the branches of the trees.
A little quiet guitar playing by Mike Dawes fills the autumn darkness with a pleasant warmth and a cautious hope that the darker season soon will be over.
