What's Spinning Tonight?

Friday evening’s first spinn on the Ascona☝:

Tosca - Dehli9, from 2003. 4 LP’s on black vinyl at 33rpm.

Musically a killer album! However, this particular vinyl album has a defect in the pressing, which makes it sound like the bass element has cracked. Really annoying, as I have been waiting for this album quite some time. Mailing with my vinylstore - trying to get a replacement. Update will follow.

Follow up on the Ascona☝:

Rüfüs Du Sol - Solace, from 2018 on black vinyl at 33rpm. Don’t know yet were to place this music in my collection - think it will need some real good spinns, before I can express myself on how I find it. Enjoy ;) !

You organize your music based upon expression?
Right now I've only separated my classical music from everything else, no particular order either...lol

My audio project for this year is media storage/organization.

Ha ha ha - No not really, but this Rüfüs album.. it is kind of off set to me at the moment. It needs a whole lot more listening, to get a grip of the album. First thoughts is that it will end up in my nu-disco area.. LOL.. :D .. but not entirely sure of that either. Besides that I have my humble collection rather organized ;).

Right now on the SONY SCD-1☝:

Scooter - Sheffield, from 2000 on CD.

An awesome Euro-Trance album with a serious drive. Hard to sit still to this one, I tell you :D !!

Every time I see your table, I wonder if you have too many Ey'Bro drinks and play the 3 arms at once and hear a message about Paul McCartney.

Ha ha, yea one might think so, but as an old DJ yourself, you would love it - I’m sure.
Got to keep sober though, not to get stuck with the fingers between the arms…LOL.

First out on the SONY SCD-1 this morning☝:

The Big Blue - Eric Serra, from 1988 on CD.

This is the original motion picture soundtrack from The Big Blue movie, directed by Luc Besson. Awesome sound and HIGHLY recommended, both the soundtrack and the movie.

At my place, this album is best played back in 7.4 simulated surround sound. Big airy sound, with things going everywhere around. Abyss-like deep bass. Feels like you’re in the deep swimming with dolphins. Enjoy :) !

Continue streaming Darkwave as my mind starts to get dark as Mordor:eek:☝:

The Nephilim - Fields Of The Nephilim, from 1988.

Dark, sticky, high energy rock that resembles of the Sisters Of Mercy. This really gets me going. Don’t need no training with this music, I get the blood flowing through my veins anyway! The energy of this music makes my biceps grow out of control - sooo cool :D !!

Going wild in the audioroom☝:
Running over to the Ascona Neo :p

Sisters Of Mercy - Floodland, originally from 1987. This however is the reissue from 2015, which is a killer album. Perfect press with very little surface noise, black background and overall very balanced soundstage. Highly recommended.
