Celebrating 50 years this year, the 1975 ”Wish You Were Here” album by Pink Floyd still blows my mind sonically. Produced between January and July at Abbey Road Studios, it contains some of the true iconic songs produced by Pink Floyd. On this album ”Welcome To The Machine” stands out as one of my ABSOLUTE favorite songs ever. Enjoy !
I was a typical counter culture guy like most growing up.
I remember seeing a friend's mother in 2008 at the hospital where I was so doing surgery as a orthopedic surgeon. She had not seen me since 1979 and said that I've hardly changed...
I might have blown it off because she never liked me and also always had something negative to say to me usually... lol

In the 80s I was more into rebellion, I was fed up with school. Just like the Ärzte (German band) sang about in their song "Junge".In the 90s, the working world made me a normal person again..pity
...a *very* long time ago, after grad school, and sick of school, I worked in the forest service in SoCal. Firefighter.
Guys made fun of me since I was from upstate NY. I told them: just because you don't wear a cowboy hat, doesn't mean you're not a cowboy, muthafuka. You'll always be a rebel @DasguteOhr Rock on.
