What's Spinning Tonight?

On the SL-1200G right now☝:

Pantera - Far Beyond Driven, originally from 1994. This however is the reissue from 2021 on marbled white vinyl at 33rpm.

This particular vinyl is a little bit wrapped / wrinkled, so for this one I use the extra outer sleeve ring to stabilize it firm to the platter. The difference in SQ is mindblowing with the sleeve ring. More dynamics, more punch and deeper bass, quieter background and more overall calm to the album.. (if anyone dare to say Pantera is calm).. LOL .. Enjoy :D !!

Here in my little hifi-bunker I continue with more Pantera☝:

Pantera - Cowboys From Hell, originally from 1990. This is the reissue from 2021, on marbled white/brown vinyl at 33rpm.

Still use the outer sleeve ring for improved performance. This pressing is somewhat thin a needs a major boost in the bass region to come alive (the usual heavy metal issues ). I’m happy I can adjust for that, so no worries! Music though is awesome and super energetic - Love it !

Humanoid - Stakker Humanoid

This track takes me back to the late 80’s, days of acid house. There were some terrible cheesy tunes, I always loved this one, not sure if it was to do with the arcade game they sampled this from. I enjoyed playing Berzerk.

And no, I never popped any pills.

Chris - Right now YOU are my hero.. LOL!!!
Just love this kind choice!! Just because you are a true audiophile doesn’t mean you just have to play jazz and classical… Humanoid is as important to play once in a while - Simply Love It☝:D !!!
