Michael Jackson - Off The Wall

Just having a late night listening session to this Michael Jackson Mobile Fidelity One step 45rpm ultra quiet double LP. First listen, it sounds amazing. Not had a chance to compare it to my original 1979 epic copy yet, but from memory this Mobile Fidelity copy is killing it. Money well spent. If you are an MJ fan, rush out and get a copy, they are limited to 6000 copies.

 

Lee Morgan has me bouncing around my listening room to his groove. Nothing like jazz to get you smiling.

The album contains two sessions. The first is a follow up session to the "Duke Ellington and Johnny Hodges Back to Back" session.. The other session on the album, with Strayhorn on piano and featuring Ben Webster is excellent as well.
