What's Spinning Tonight?

Ha ha ha…

Well… I did brush my teeth but the taste was still there.. LOL :D ! I guess our mileage may vary quite a bit here. John Foxx is not for me, even though he might be a very good artist, and for that he’s got my respect. However… I’ll take some progressive trance music any day instead :p !!

I like both :p Johan, please tell me you have this classik album.

Max Q -1989 - Hutchence at his very best. He and Ollie Olsen should have collaborated on more music. Can't believe this has never been reissued.
RIP Michael and Ollie

Noop - Sorry, I don’t have it, but Michael Hutchence and INXS is very dear to me. Got a few of their other albums, DVD and so forth. The sound they had around 90-91 and especially from the Wembley Stadium shows stands out to this day ;) . Very sad he went so young… RIP indeed.

20250510_161700.jpg Hi all,
Long time Audiophile, but new to the forum. Just want to share my wonderful experience dealing with Rainer Neuwirth.
I ordered a vinyl from Rainer Neuwirth as I've been impressed with all his tapes. What a surprise! I have many great recordings and am very picky about the sound, and I've found myself disappointed too many times, as a lot of records I've bought just weren't that good. That's why I now buy only from a few sources; Analogue Productions is one of them. But I found Rainer's vinyl to be very special, as it makes me feel like I'm at a live venue with real musicians playing real music. It feels surreal, like I'm being transported to Bottrop, Germany, and I've never been there. Maybe it's the art cover that makes me feel that way, but the recording itself is superb. It's not extremely quiet or detailed as my other vinyls ---- maybe a good thing as I can hear some hiss from the original tape in between tracks, which I like, but it sounds just like real music should sound. I play piano and violin, BTW, and go to concerts a lot, and I found his vinyl to be very accurate to live music.

Lila Forde - Vessel A very enjoyable surprise……..

I browse Qobuz new music on Fridays, found this enchanting and added this one to my library. Not much was yet shown in background so I web searched and found her site, https://lilaforde.com/past. Shame on me for not recalling her from The Voice. I recommend watching her videos shown on the link. Her live covers are really interesting. The Present tab on the site has more song videos. She has an intimate conversational quality in her lower register that I am drawn to. Her album release, "River", has several of her covers, but find myself preferring her live video covers even more. Her cover of Steve Winwood's/Blind Faith "Can't Find My Home" is well worth watch/listen.
