Found this to be a stunning recording:

 

Matmos - "Plastic Anniversary" is a sonic masterpiece of experimental contemporary music. In this album the bulk of the instruments played are created from found and recycled plastic that is also electronically manipulated. The result is surprisingly musical despite a somewhat industrial feel and very interesting. Vinyl is more dimensional than streaming and sadly the album is only available on Tidal not Qobuz.

I first heard part of this album at Munich High-End Show 2025, I can’t remember in which room I heard it. The track I heard was Jazz Variants - The O-Zone Percussion Group. I asked what the album was and the guy showed me this Album by Manger Audio. I had already been in the Manger Audio room that day, I made my way back to Mangers room. I asked them if they had the record, the guy must have misheard me as he pointed me to the CD. I said no, I want a vinyl copy. He said they have sold out. Daniena Manger (CEO) then spoke to me and gave me her card, asked me to email her and she will let me know when they have new runs of the album. Anyway, she was true to her word and now I have a copy.

A very nice gesture from her. I love Manger speakers. The best performance at a hi-fi show in my entire life. (Audiophysik Medea 3 Manger drivers in it) + 3 Scanspeak 9" active bass drivers. If you ever find them on the used market, you can buy them unheard.

Wasn't this record from 1985-1986 time frame? Seems that I remember hearing the title track at club in Frankfurt back then..
