it has been some times I haven't read anything from these, heretofore, prolific members

Where are you microstrip? .. Let us know of your whereabouts...

Same with Phelonious ... Long time We haven't read anything from you too...

Wazzup Guys !?!

I've seen micro post on AudioShark a couple of times, yesterday as a matter of fact. Not very often though.

I think that P.P. has ben busy with his band.

Quite a few members are pretty active on AudioShark. On certain topics, there is much more discussion over there than there is here.

I see several guys over at the SHForums as well.

I sometimes b!tch and complain, but I still visit here daily to browse and post on occasion. I just wish members would get a little more relaxed and stop being so serious all the time.

Particiapation is voluntary. If one doesn't want to be here, I bid him farewell. There are also many new folks too. I think membership is a function of the variety and interest in those topics discussed. The biggest adavantage for this forum is that it encompasses the widest spectrum of thought. Having said that, I agree that certain topics and dynamics became very repetitious/stale, IMO. I just stop participating in those topics and try to start ones which interest me.

On a slightly unrelated but very sad note, I just read on the 'Shark that Mr. Acoustat has passed on. May he rest in peace; he will certainly be missed.

Wow, this is sad news indeed. That was definitely one person that without question knew what his favorite speaker is! RIP Mr. Acoustat and if his family reads this, my condolences to you and yours. We were glad to have him as a member here at the WBF. He was a good man as we knew him. Happy listening buddy.

RIP MrAcoustat.

I thought it was very cool that he like The Clash. Maybe something could be said beneath his avatar? RIP or something?

Oh gosh. What sad news. May he indeed rest in peace.

And yes, a fitting new member title would be merited. Open to suggestions.
