The last one reminds me of a day I was driving in Milpitas (CA) getting lunch and hearing people laugh at how much AT&T paid for McCaw cellular. i remember the reporter saying how stupid it was that AT&T thought people would shell out so much to have wireless phone. The tone went like, "why would someone pay $100/month so that they can get phone calls everywhere? Consumers just won't pay that." Oh well. Now it is the wired business that is extinct. I wonder what that reporter is doing today!

This is also the case when one does some reasarch about top-careers...Architects are IN again, but not the ones we knew some decades ago, but business architects, cloud computing architects or BPO solution architects....
