Why are the WBF servers so slow? PLEASE READ FOR FINAL UPDATED ANNOUNCEMENT

Hopefully we have found the reason for these recurrent messages and the problem is solved. Ewe have again been having growing pains with inordinately large traffic on the site. When we switched to our new server I purchased an additional great amount of RAM to satisfy our peak times

I submitted a ticket this morning and just got this reply....would members kindly keep an eye now for any recurrences

Hello,

The server RAM was full and it had switched over to swap memory which likely caused the issue. I have cleared the RAM.

Please try now and let us know if you still face the issue.

I had a brief recurrence twice this morning. I got the message but when I refreshed my screen the site immediately loaded. Has anyone had a similar experience

I am keeping an eye on the server itself. I need to ascertain the outage is only our site, or is the the entire host and their service site.

The last outage was BOTH, which makes me think it is them, not us.

I appreciate the help guys.

Slow response in the UK at 23.23 UTC today....
