It's all hypothetical unless you've compared. I know of no one who has other than me in this forum and others. I'd love to hear others who might've compared.

My opinion is - there's no difference as I've tested with multiple subs and multiple speakers. Much of what we believe versus reality are worlds apart in our hobby IME.

There are non religious reasons for choice. But they depend on too many parameters and the answer could be misleading if not extremely long and exhaustive. So your answer is the best one!
