Before a few weeks ago the only chance i had to hear a Zanden product was at a show and i did like what i heard but a few weeks ago i attended a listening session at my friend Elrocco's place for 5.5 hours and all i can say is as good as his C.E.C. TL-0X was l loved the Zanden just as much and man this transport is small and sexy congrats Claude.

always nice to read about another person's experience with my favorite digital... I am particularly intrigued by your comments about CEC which is a legendary transport. I have heard great things about the TLOX...i do wonder if the Zanden transport sounds particularly great in Rocco's system...because it is hooked up to its bretheren DAC.

I have to admit, i tried Esoteric, Audio Aero transports (basically both Esoterics), 2 Oppos, a few others and none came close to the Zanden Transport...but i was always auditioning in my own system which has been Zanden DAC for over 7 years.
