Forgive me, but doesn’t it bother you that only one speakers set were connected with Audio Tech ‘Independant Passive Grounding‘ ?

This solely can explain the difference in sound transparency, clarity and details between both speakers.

Yes, entirely possible. That’s also why I mentioned, “somewhat OTT”. A very different writing style but one has to assume that the writer is describing what he heard. The fact that one is an “M” and the other an “S” and the price gap between both may (or may not) have been relevant factors.
