not sure exactly what you think you are doing. my advice is to use the post 'report' function if you want to in some way correct someone regarding the forum rules. that alert's the moderator about your concern. but you are of course free to act and say what you like. but my personal opinion is that it's not a good plan.I understand the intent isn’t to restrict members from sharing genuine experiences with gear they use and enjoy—of course, that’s a big part of what makes this forum great.
My only reason for raising the point was based on Rule #20 in the forum’s policy, which addresses posts from dealers or distributors who aren’t current advertisers, especially when products are described in detail.
When people visit WBF, I think it’s fair to assume they expect those kinds of guidelines to be respected. And just to be clear, I didn’t make that rule—WBF did.
OK
Understood. I’ve said what I felt needed to be said, and I won’t push the matter further. I’m not here to speculate, just to highlight why transparency matters in threads like this—so readers can understand who’s sharing as a fellow user, and who may have a commercial tie. That’s it.Im going to say whatever I want, whenever I want and to whomever I want . I don’t know who you are or who you think you are but you are not the boss of me or anyone else.
Try taking rule 6 and finding a nice warm place for it !
Hmmm… then why does he have a Reiki page on his website? For the purposes of transparency, as mentioned in your later post: Elliot is not a Reiki Audio dealer.
Ah, this is just what the thread needs, a nice bit of manufacturer on manufacturer action.Hmmm… then why does he have a Reiki page on his website?

I’m happy to move on and continue contributing to the thread. Let’s get back
Transparency? What part of that word do you follow ? No name, No system and no location. You feel that you can impugn my character and stick your questionable morals on someone else. I find that truly offensive. Now you want not to speculate and move on. I would say more Sir but that would be too transparent!!!Understood. The REF10 has galvanically isolated outputs.but I would think that connecting two switches to a common external clock can reintroduce a path for electrical noise, especially ground-related noise,
Could you please list your network chain? For those few that want to call me names be my guest
I wanted to update my feelings and results of the new USB with the Reiki Switch and power supply. I have been playing my system daily in the new location and the last few days I haven't much time to sit and listen as I am getting walk in traffic. Im not complaining thats why I moved here
So this morning I was playing the big system for a new client. After he left I sat down and listened to some of regular stuff to see how the system is doing.
Something has changed. It has progressed to a new level . This sound today is just amazing. I don't know what words to use as they as sound like audiophile bs but all i can think about is more and more purity. It is that in spades.
So all you accusers push ignore, question my morals and integrity I don't care for those who do want my thoughts and my experience this is really great so use the information as you see fit. Peace
I have the Reiki and LPS and found it particularly beneficial in my chain. I’d be curious to hear your comments on the addition of the Jundo cable. It seems impossible that it brought as much to the table as the switch and PS, but I have been disproved enough times that I have a healthy dose of skepticism about my dose of skepticism. So - what more did the network cable bring to the table? For those few that want to call me names be my guest

I have described this over my last few posts if you want to go back and read them. In brief and in general it is much purer than it was before. I have had the Raku Stream cable in the system before and a bunch of others before that. I have had a few switches before the Reiki that included Nordost, Ansuz, and a few of the normal available pieces that are not touched by audiophilia. BTW I was not looking to change the cable I had!!!I have the Reiki and LPS and found it particularly beneficial in my chain. I’d be curious to hear your comments on the addition of the Jundo cable. Best,
Helpful. Thank you. (And I appreciate the levity in your writing, too.)I have described this over my last few posts if you want to go back and read them. I am at this time using a Shunyata Omega ethernet cable from my wall plate to the Reiki input and the Jundostream from the output to my Wadax Reference server. I believe that the service in the back of the place is through some uni-fi switching crap and the service has been comcast and now T mobile and maybe will become ATT I am not sure yet. I have had loads of kids trying lately to sell service to me
the most noticeable part of the change was more information. There is a sense of purity, clarity , transparency or whatever you want to call it. There is more. More of what I want and that leads to a greater sense of being involved, of being brought into the musical atmosphere. I dont have the ability to choose the words correctly since I believe the words are truly meaningless and if they mean something different to everyone.
Its not detail perse, its not bright, its not foward, its clearer and more dimensional at the same time, there is more of the space between the notes.
OK that's the best I can describe. BTW I am not saying this is a universal cure, that its the "best" of anything, that it will cure any disease, wipe out the national debt, end war and make you loose weight, I am only saying in my system its terrific.
you are most welcome. I'll be here all weekHelpful. Thank you. (And I appreciate the levity in your writing, too.)
Nice post, thanks. Fact check re EMI/RFI shielding: each twisted pair is covered by 100% coverage aluminium foil and 95% coverage copper braid.Even though this is an audiophile switch thread, we always end up talking about the last, so important cable. No matter how good your switch is, we can’t not have that final Ethernet connection to the streamer or DAC—it matters.
That’s why I want to tip my hat to what Reiki Audio has done with their Jundo Ethernet cable. In a world where most audiophile Ethernet designs rely on heavy shielding and brute-force materials, Reiki took a completely different path—and it seems a smart one.
Instead of stacking more metal and layers, Reiki removed what traditional cables can never get rid of:
- heavy shielding that can trap noise or create ground loops
- dielectrics that just can’t beat the ’clarity’ of air
- twisted-pair crosstalk that’s hard to eliminate in round designs.
Jundos` design should be able to deliver extremely low crosstalk, ultra-low capacitance, and a very low jitter contribution. It also carries a minimal risk of ground loops (ha, ha, I expected that one Nigel). Of course, you can’t have it all—the only thing missing I can see is sufficient EMI shielding (in certain environments, especially when dealing with high levels of electrical noise or in setups with a lot of RF interference). Careful placement and shielded ethernet ports can be important.
Even if the data is bit-perfect, the delivery environment isn’t. Jundo’s design seems to adress in a unique way unwanted or unintended electrical or electromagnetic effects that can distort the quality of the signal being transmitted.
Smart, clean thinking. Respect.
