I said I would never buy another Turntable...Argh !!!

Dear Christian,

Dont forget back support and deadlift position when lifting.
Btw, the Wilson's are going to your house or someone's house.

And so it begins. Congratulations Christian. Moving those four Pass amp chassis must not have been easy either. If David gets you to move to horns and Lamm, you know whom to contact about those XS amps. :)

Yes....the dead lifts were pretty brutal from floor to box. The power supplies weigh in at 130lbs each and are quite bulky. Heavy leather work gloves made it a bit easier..

I should of worn support for the amps. Will be prepared for the bass cabinet move...
Wilson’s going to the new place unless I can’t get them out of the basement...I did briefly think about buying new speakers and have the dealer install them..;)

Good luck! A lot of work ahead but allways exciting. And after the installs another long way looking for the best positions and tweaking everything. But that also should be fun in such a big nice room.
Looking forward!

Your new room is huge with so much head room. You now need a WAMM. All F12 owner should have a WAMM.

Dave, you're right.
Dating the girl and impressing her enough to marry you is the easy bit.

It's the living together in a new place that takes some arranging.

Weather here in upstate looks great for the weekend move....it'll be fun!

It's an exciting adventure in every aspect Christian but one, the part of packing up and unpacking. Even if it is a next door move it is still all the same effort

Do you have a mover for your speakers or do I understand you're doing it your self?

When we moved back from the Bay Area to Southern California I had all of my audio gear insured

The X-2 Bass Cabinet is more like 400lbs. Brutal move up out of the dungeon. In the end, success. Lifting straps no go. Appliance dolly, the only way. They are in the new home. View attachment 47279Initial position will be 9ft spread, sitting 12-13ft. back for starters.
Will be interesting to hear how you control the bass in your room.

Tang :)
