When you write in a YG Acoustics thread that a 45" tall $22K speaker stacks up to any other speaker, it seems that is what you are saying.Chuck, I went back and read my posts, please point out to me where I said the A5s were better than any YG please? I didn't mean that with any of my posts, but after re-reading them I can't find where I said that.
Here is what I actually said-
"I'm not saying it's better than YG or other Magico speakers"
I have heard many speakers similar to the A5 including my excellent $6K Paradigm 30th Anniversary Tributes (45" tall, 3 way, 5 driver, Be tweeter), which I suspect would stack up well against the A5. I even connected the Paradigms to the Boulder 3060 a couple of weeks ago just to see how good they really are -- amazing for their size and cost. However, not in the XV's league.
I'm sure the A5s are terrific speakers and I can't wait to hear them, if there are ever shows again. I also look forward to YG's efforts with Cambridge Acoustic Sciences -- I expect an A5 competitor.
