SET amp owners thread

At the moment it’s 160! But it’s supposed to be 100-120 but due to lack of FBs (frequency boards) it’s not possible at the moment.
Could you provide some details about the subs please?
Drivers, who made them, whether they are based on some existing design or a ground up new design, are they passive, and what are some specs- sensitivity, impedance, etc.?
I have the same speakers, but my subs are JL Audio Fathom V2 112.
I’m using active x-over for the mains speakers only- First Watt F3 on the bass and Thomas Mayer 6CB5A SET up top.
Thank you

They are based on a Bill Fritzmaurice design THT and made locally by a furniture carpenter here in Norway. The drivers are Dayton Audio RSS390 HF4. It’s app 4 m. long folded horn witch is extended by an additional 1 m.+ when loading into the corners As in the picture. 9104032F-80F0-493E-A2C2-B51A5796CC19.jpeg

How do you have the F4s connected as monoblocks? Are you bridging? Running only one channel?
Via the Accuphase F-25, 500hz FB One chanal for the 817(2x515 16G) and One CH for the 1505/288 16G. Its so quiet/dark bakgrunn compared to anything else I have tried or tested!

I also use Pap C1 active crossover designed by Nelson Pass.for bi amping.

But I am also intereted in Accuphase F25 crossover.

Yes I will look into that! Has had a number of requests for a video/sound recording of the system but not sure how to do this in a quality that makes sense… (not just showing the limitations of my iPhone).
I friend has both the C1 and the F25. Uses the C1 to find the best crossover poind in order to get the right FB. The C1 is very flexible but the F25 is just on a different level in sound quality.

This is a recording of Altec A7 biamped using Pap C1 done by Galaxy phone.

Even if you use iphone, it would be helpful.
