I feel KP should Play in Game 1 but off the bench . No need to let him do the jump ball .

No team in these playoffs have been able to guard them. Celtics are more seasoned of a team but they haven’t shown that killer instinct that the Mavs have. Maybe they are just too good. However they are an older team and I wonder if they can keep up with the fast pace of the Mavs. That’s why I’m calling Celtics in 6 or Mavs in 7
I see a lot of analysts heralding the the greatest dynamic duo ever in Luka and Kyrie and it's like there is no need to stop the 2 J's. Tatum naturally gets the flak for being a pretender. The $600m men don't exist.

I think folks are looking in the wrong place to analyze this matchup. Boston has two of the best defenders in the league at the guard position: Holiday and White, and only if/when they get beat do the rotations result in Brown or Tatum being on Irving or Doncic. This series will be won in the trenches of the defenders. It has to be when you have at least four players capable of going off for 50. As a lifelong Knicks fan, I'm not invested in the outcome, but I AM looking forward to watching because the individual matchups are perfect.a good comparison to what we have all been discussing

Agree. All I see in media is how these 2 Dallas duo cannot be stopped, at all. It's like another Jordan or Bernard King scenario wherein they really cannot be controlled to lower than 30 points in a game, And with the Dallas duo, that can simply just happen. Only a few will bank on the Jrue/Derek tandem as a defensive for because both are leaner and shorter than Luka. If Luka starts the first quarter with a barrage of 3s from the logo, there is no defense against that. Law of averages will prevail. Boston has not made the 3 ball its bread and butter so far. I think (hope it will be a close series and that every game will be exciting and not a blowout for one team or the other), As for me, I just love the game and marvel at the speed, agility and greatness of all of these teams. Im a Lakers fan for well over 40 years and have no pony in the game but may the best team win. As for Celtics not being a great 3 point team, I beg to differ. With a healthy Porzingis, they will be tough to beat. I still say Celtics in 6 but if a game 7 the youth of the Mavs just might outlast the Cetics

reading this story makes me want to throw up.....to think the Lakers will draft Ronny in order to keep LeBron makes me wonder how capable Jeannie Buss is in her management of the Lakers. Seems she wants to sell tickets and make money for her shareholders and if the coach can't win a title in 2 years he's out the door.
