I have two fuses in Nagra VPA replaced by two sluggos and all works like a charm. Game over for all aftermarket fuses….

I was under the impression that you weren't using aftermarket fuses anyway. In any case, what has been your experience with the SDFB's? Did you take it (them) over to a friend's, as I think you mentioned?
I was always uaing aftwrmarket fuses HiFitunning, SR Orange and SR Purple. Did not hear any changes except with Purple. Knowing that Master costs more than SFDB there is no logic buying them beside SFDB.

Been on to Mark today via chat (seems like a great guy). As some of you know, in the UK we have fuses in our 3 pin plugs as well as the fuses in the IEC slot in the equipment. Mark has agreed to make up some sluggos in UK plug fuse size (1/4" x 1"). This means we can eliminate the fuse in the plug AND the fuse in the equipment with the SDFB, so double bubble for us! Looking forward to see how that sounds!

I've tried the graphene and it gave me a great expanded soundstage and 3D presentation but it veiled the detail and just altered the SQ to something thats just doesn't work for me. I have to try other slugs, I guess. Either that or it just doesn't have the same magic for AtmaSphere amps. I know I was never able to get any benefit from upgraded fuses on that amp.

Are all of your slugs the Super Sluggo (high purity copper immersed in gold)?
I just starting breaking in a SDFB with Super Sluggo on the LPS driving my internet ONT/Router. A substantial improvement.

I only have the Supers on my gold note PA 10 amplifiers. My X200 has the copper and I tried the gold immersion on the x200 and preferred the copper. YMMV.
I am running a rhodium plated tellurium copper slug in my Gold Note IS-1000 Deluxe Integrated.

This list shows the conductive order of some commonly used metals and alloys, based on equal sizes.
Rhodium is a platinum and not a great conductor however is very resistant to corrosion and wear. This table is not taking into consideration hybrid alloy blends and their properties. I have steered away from the lower ranked materials unless durability (wear and corrosion) are a factor in the application. I do not have any Rhodium treated power cables in my systems. Copper or Silver. YMMV

Truthfully, accessing the fuse holder is a giant pain, so the rhodium/tellurium has been there since it arrived several months ago. Copper/Gold Immersion is nice too, but haven't listened to it in a while. If I can muster the courage to go behind the rack again, I'll try the Copper/Gold again. It may compliment the Gold Note's elegant signature better anyway.
Useful list. All my experience with rhodium is that it strips warmth from the sound. Silver I shy away from, or limit, for similar reasons or tonal balance toward brightness, although I don’t recall ever hearing pure silver. For those reasons I prefer as pure, high grade copper as possible, although the copper sluugo isn’t quite making it (yet) for me, in spite of its attention to detail.

Yes I found that the SS Copper/Gold infused better in my GaNfet Amplifiers than the Copper, It was the exact opposite in my Tubed Integrated system the Copper was much better than the Copper/Gold infused.
I think people are going to find that system synergy is going to key and different alloys will have different sound characteristics. As MacF found with his system. It is process.
