1923 -The much awaited Season 2

1923 has the potential to surpass 1883 if season 2 is able to tie up the many loose ends the first left behind.

Maybe but maybe not.

1883 was the best miniseries I have ever seen

1923 seems to be an interlude between 1944 with Matthew McConaughey and then there is the 4 6's

BTW I thought episode 2 of last weeks Yellowstone was the most poorly edited one hour of anything I have ever seen . It was simply terrible

1923 is scheduled to return in February. Saw a short trailer last night.

I really love all of these shows ... just wish we didn't have to wait so long for the next season!

I really dislike the long wait period between seasons, but it gives them time for the buildup and the anticipation and allows for the re-broadcasting of previous seasons to fill up airtime.

It’s like the Dune movies. You watch one and then you have to rewatch it before the next one comes out just to remember what’s going on.

Kevin Costner’s three part six hour epic movie is going to do the same thing. Who can remember what happened in part one?

I enjoyed the first Mayor of Kingston, but due to the tragic accident, there was such a long break that I lost all interest and never even started watching the second season.

IMO the second season was even better than the first

Season 2 of 1923 has started and I thought the first few episodes were excellent. Although 1883 remains my all time favorite miniseries, 1923 has lasting power and brings into focus the Dutton family . How they filmed the current episode in the midst of that huge snow storm was epic. Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford are excellent in their roles and the first few episodes were very engaging as they encompassed the entire story line from all the back stories

Definitely worth the watch

I'll share a proud Dad moment. Here is a pic of my son in costume for an upcoming bit part in season 2....
