Advice for Microphone

Hi Everyone,

I hate to bother you all but I require some professional advice with selecting an certain type of microphone and sadly I haven't had much luck in the area of research. So any advice would greatly appreciated.

I am currently seeking - A microphone capable of picking up the smallest sound pressure possible and the lowest frequencies (Infrasound) as well, from 15 meters.

Does anyone know what could achieve this? Or close to it?

I would ask this question on a recording studio forum- will get more ideas. Perhaps look at what Bruel & Kjaer is offering for measurement tools these days...

I use an Earthworks M30 for room measurements. They advertise it to be flat from 3hz-32kHZ. Works very well for my purposes.

Not sure if your intentions with the MIC are the same but the MIC I mention is an Omni type. If your intention is something else they make something for all occasions and budgets.
